About the service

Hubzilla Maths (hubzillamaths.com) is an interactive learning platform for IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches, operated by Jamie Hubball. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact jamie@hubzillamaths.com.

Early access and pricing

Hubzilla Maths is under active development and is currently free to use during this period. Content is being added unit by unit, and features may change, be added or be removed as the site develops. We may introduce paid plans in the future once the course content is more complete; if that happens, we will give existing users clear notice before anything changes, and we will not silently start charging you.

Your account

• Provide accurate information when signing up, and keep your password secure.
• Your account is personal — don't share it or let others submit answers as you.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Joining a class with a join code gives that class's teacher access to your progress, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• Attempt to gain access to other users' accounts or data
• Attempt to interfere with, overload or circumvent the site's security or grading systems
• Scrape, copy or redistribute the site's content in bulk
• Use the site for anything unlawful

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Content and intellectual property

The lessons, exercises, videos and other materials on Hubzilla Maths are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial study (or, for teachers, classroom use with your students). Please don't republish or redistribute them.

“IB” and “International Baccalaureate” are trademarks of the International Baccalaureate Organization, which does not endorse and is not affiliated with this site.

Your data

How we collect and use your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

No guarantees

The site is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep the content accurate and the site available, but — especially during early access — we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every answer the grader gives is correct, or any particular exam result. Nothing on the site is official IB material or advice.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can stop using the site at any time, and can ask us to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes to these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
